Masachi is increasingly gaining recognition for her work both as soloist and as a collaborative pianist. She has performed at numerous prestigious venues worldwide. Her London debut solo concert at St. John's Smith Square and her Schostakovich Piano Concerto No.1 with Martin Hurrell, the BBC Symphony Orchestra's sub-principal were highly acclaimed. One of her main projects has been to give over thirty recitals of Bach’s monumental GoldbergVariations in UK and Japan and she has gained special distinction for the performances.
Masachi has great success in many competitions, including First Prize at the Hokkaido Music Camp, Special Prize at the International Artist Association of Japan , and the Maud Hornby Prize. Masachi studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music (Japan), the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music (London). She is currently an artistic directer of Marlborough Recital Series in London and Tokyo.
